About this course

This 8-week Foundations of Risk Management course will teach learners how to identify risks to a business, decide whether the risk is significant or not, and then how to create a plan to manage the risk or mitigate it. Learners will learn how to use practical risk identification tools, a risk register that will help them predict and mitigate future risks, and apply what they are learning in their current work environment.

Risk surrounds us daily, both personally and in our workplaces. In today’s competitive, dynamic, and changing environment, it is imperative that individuals and organisations learn how to manage different types of risk, and have the appropriate processes, structures, and governance to detect and deter them.

This course is ideal for:
  • Anyone who would like to increase their risk management skills in a business
  • Leaders who would like to learn how to manage risk in their organisation

Should you have an understanding of risk management principles and are involved in risk management, strategy development, business continuity, compliance, and corporate governance, our Advanced Risk Management short course would be best for you.
