About this course
In the eight-week operations management course offered by MasterStart in partnership with Gibs Business School, learners will gain an understanding of how to manage the production of goods and services to reach the goals and objectives of an organisation. They will learn how to determine whether the product or service is fit for purpose (is it profitable, sustainable, effective, and efficient). Above this, they will gain the skill of adjusting or adding business processes to streamline workflow and increase profitability.
Operations management, simply put, is the planning, implementing, and controlling of business processes in the design and rollout of products and services. As part of operations management, the learner will be able to control and plan the use of resources within an organisation to create efficiency, increase profitability, and manage risk.
This operations management course is ideal for:
- For professionals (beginner- to mid-level) that want to understand the principles and processes that underpin operations management
