Employees with problem solving and critical thinking skills are crucial as they will make better business decisions contributing to the sustainability and success of the organisation.

In this course, learners sharpen their problem solving skills through creative and critical thinking. They will not only learn practical tools, strategies and techniques but also practise by applying these to their own problems. Most importantly, as they work through the course they will get an opportunity to learn about themselves and their own preferences when it comes to problem solving so they can understand how to use the tools and strategies from the course and also where areas of improvement are.

  • Be able to apply how to first identify and articulate the problem
  • Discover the problem-solving cycle
  • Apply about strategies and tactics solving problems in response to barriers
  • Apply problem-solving and critical-thinking techniques, learning how to apply 5 common problem-solving models
  • Study and practically apply the critical-thinking process in specific organisational scenarios
  • Determine and present appropriate business-critical solutions
